Why was my document denied?
- Identification documents such as passport, driver’s license or NID are declined if they are not entirely visible, does not match with the name on the user’s TBT account, or if the documents are inserted into the wrong field.
- Utility bills (phone and electricity) and bank statements are declined if they don’t have the user’s name and address that matches the name and address in their TBT profile. For this reason we urge users to update their address in their profile so their document can be verified.
How long does my document take to verify?
- Our verification team evaluates each document carefully using KYC terms to properly assess all our users in the most timely manner. For this reason it may take our team up to 48 hours to review your documents. You might, however, experience a delay in the approval of your documents due to a heavy surge in user traffic. If that is the case, simply send us a ticket so we speed up the process.
